MARTINA NAVRATILOVA will include a defence of the pre-Wimbledon Volkswagen Cup at Eastbourne (13- 18 June) in her itinerary for her last year on the women's tour. Jana Novotna, the Wimbledon runner-up, is also in the field.

BORIS BECKER'S successful defence of his Milan indoor singles title yesterday was his first tournament win in a year in only his second Tour event since returning to the circuit after the birth of his first child.
