BORIS BECKER has opted out of the German Davis Cup team to play Spain in the quarter-finals. Germany will be represented on 15 to 17 July by Michael Stich, Karsten Braasch, Marc Goellner and Patrik Kuhnen. Hendrik Dreekmann will make up the squad.
