PAT CASH, the 1987 Wimbledon champion, will end a year-long break from competition with an appearance at next week's South Australian grass-court championships in Adelaide. Cash, now 28, was ranked fourth in the world after winning Wimbledon. He returned to Melbourne recently after spending most of 1993 training in London. His last scheduled appearance in a tournament was at Kooyong, Australia, last year, but he pulled out with a recurrence of a knee injury.
