TONY ROCHE has emerged as the favourite to replace Neale Fraser as Australia's Davis Cup captain. 'Tony would be my only choice. He has the experience,' said John Newcombe, the former Wimbledon champion who won 12 Grand Slam doubles titles with Roche in the 1960s and 1970s. Australia have had only two Davis Cup captains in the past 50 years - Fraser and Harry Hopman.
