If Middlesbrough are going down, they are going down fighting. The Riverside stadium's finest demonstrated yet again against Aston Villa on Saturday that their awesomeness going forward is matched only by their awfulness at the back. However, they still managed to grab all three points in the end.

So often a one-man side, Ravanelli and Beck demonstrated on Saturday that Juninho perhaps was not the only bright idea Bryan Robson has ever had after all.

And, against a Manchester United side which themselves looked all over the place at the back at various stages against Leicester on Saturday, Middlesbrough look a fair bet at 3-1 with William Hill to gain a draw at Old Trafford in their high noon encounter.

Newcastle can beat West Ham at Upton Park tomorrow. The Hammers easily brushed Sheffield Wednesday aside on Saturday but will find Kenny Dalglish's outfit - who upset Arsenal at Highbury on Saturday - an entirely different proposition. Newcastle look a solid bet at 5-4 with William Hill.

Wimbledon, who relegated Nottingham Forest by drawing with them at the City ground on Saturday, can do damage at the other end of the table by holding Liverpool to a draw at home.

Wimbledon have lost their way a bit of late but showed enough on Saturday to suggest that they will be a tough nut for Liverpool, who seem to have lost that killer edge of old this season. William Hill offer 5-2 about this game finishing all-square.

Internazionale look a a fair wager at 6-4 with William Hill to beat Schalke 04 away in the first leg of the Uefa Cup final on Wednesday.

The Italian side have looked the likely winners of this competition ever since the quarter- final stage and frankly look in a different class to their opponents.
