After a 37-year period at Wembley Arena, the world's oldest badminton championships, the Yonex All-England Open, have moved to the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham and tomorrow's finals provide an opportunity to watch the world's leading players. The All-England Open Championships are regarded as the top event on the grand prix circuit and before the introduction of a World Championship was dubbed the world's premier event. The first final starts at 1pm.

How to get there: National Indoor Arena, King Edward's Road, Birmingham. Junction six of M6 and the Arena is signposted from the A38(M). Admission: lower tier pounds 17 adults, pounds 8.50 children 16 and under/OAPs; upper tier pounds 5, pounds 2.50. (Box Office 021-200 2222).
