The 10th round of the Gulf Oils / RAC British Hill Climb Championship at Harewood, Yorkshire, on Sunday promises a feast of speed and David Grace, the British champion, has to make his mark to cut Mark Colton's 11pt lead in this year's competition. Grace, who drives a 3.5-litre Pilbeam, won at Harewood last year and if his runs on the hill are successful against the 3.5-litre Roman of Colton, the championship may not be decided until the final round at Doune in September. Among the Harewood regulars is Michael Holroyd, who beat all the Ferraris in his Mini Cooper S at the last meeting.

How to get there: Harewood Hillclimb, Stockton Farm, is 7 1/2 miles north-east of Leeds on A659 between Harewood village and Collingham. Practice from noon tomorrow; first timed run 11.15am on Sunday. Admission: pounds 5 adults, children free. (Tel: 0532-886391).
