The American wrestler Akebono and his fellow yokozuna (grand champion) Takanohana moved into a three-way tie for the lead yesterday in the 15-day New Year Grand Sumo Tournament after the American ozeki (champion), Musashimaru, suffered his second defeat.

Akebono and Takanohana wrestle eachother today.
