Tennis: Graf's perfection

Steffi Graf, the Wimbledon champion, produced a perfect performance on clay yesterday to help Germany, the top seeds, into the semi-finals of the Federation Cup in Frankfurt. The world No 2 took just 36 minutes to defeat Katarzyna Nowak 6-0, 6-0 as Germany whitewashed Poland 3-0 to set up a semi-final with the United States tomorrow.
