Andy Murray has joined David Beckham, the Spice Girls and Claudia Schiffer by signing for Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment management company.

Murray, who is joining with his brother Jamie, is at the end of his contract with Patricio Apey's Ace Group. Murray will also work with CAA Sports, which represents Novak Djokovic, the world No 3.

"Jamie and I feel we've made big progress in the last couple of years on court," Murray said. "It's important we have the very best team to take care of business while we concentrate on our tennis."

Murray plays James Blake tomorrow in an exhibition tournament in Abu Dhabi, which also features Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick. He then flies to Doha for next week's Qatar Open, his only tournament before the Australian Open, which begins on 19 January.
