Wimbledon is about to get under way but with so many players taking part in the early stages of the tournament, we've narrowed down the players to watch in the Ladies' Singles.

Serena Williams is the stand out player, returning to the All England Club as defending champion and the undisputed world number one.

But the women's game in recent years has been incredibly unpredictable, with Serena herself exiting the competition last year with a virus that saw her put in one of the weirdest displays ever seen in the doubles tournament.

With no certainties when it comes to picking who will win the tournament we take a look at the 12 ladies to watch, including the favourites and those who could cause a stir...
