Fan Power

Your chance to reclaim the game

NEXT WEDNESDAY (25 August) the Government's Football Task Force meets yet again to discuss the right way to deal with those thorny problems of ticket prices, plcs owning clubs and supporters' involvement in the running of the

game.

The football authorities (the FA, the Premier League and the Football League) will be making their submissions about how these issues should be addressed (they were asked to do so 18 months ago, but better late than never).

Meanwhile the Coalition of Football Supporters already has the answer, and is taking the opportunity to present its Fans' Charter (as detailed in last week) to David Mellor and other Task Force members, along with its (to date) 103 signatory fans' organisations.

Fans are welcome to support the handing over of the Charter between 9am and 9.30am at the Football Trust, 1 Waterhouse Square, 138-142 Holborn, just along the road from Chancery Lane tube station on the central line. Further campaigning activities can be followed in or by checking the websites or calling the numbers below for more information.
