Ray Wilkins is the only member of the squad on England's last tour to the US in 1977 who still plays. Among those who appeared then were Phil Neal, now an England assistant, and four of next season's Premier League managers - Joe Royle (Oldham), Kevin Keegan (Newcastle), Ray Clemence (Spurs) and Gerry Francis (Queen's Park Rangers).
