Just after midnight

You can start looking at Clearing vacancies on ucas.com. You won’t yet be able to see whether you have been accepted by your first or second choice university, but you can start considering your options.

7.30am

Ucas Contact Centre opens to offer advice and guidance.

8am

Ucas Track opens and Ucas’ social media advisors are available to answer questions. You can log in to see if you’ve been accepted by your first or insurance offers.

Throughout the day

Get yourself on the phone! Spend the day researching your choices and calling the universities or colleges that you are interested in going to. Vacancies tend to get snapped up quickly, so the sooner you act, the better.

5pm

Clearing choices can be submitted through Track.

8pm

The Ucas Contact Centre closes for the day. It reopens on Friday 15 August at 8am.

The Ucas telephone helpline is 0371 468 0468. Alternatively, you can get in contact with Ucas via Facebook at facebook.com/ucasonline, or on Twitter @ucas_online.
