What the winners say

“This particular year group started at RGS High Wycombe with the dubious honour of the worst ever set of results at U12 level. To finish their U13 season a year later as Rosslyn Park Champions is testament to the hard work they and their coaches have put in since their arrival at the school eighteen months ago. The junior tournament was played in horrendous weather and under these conditions, the emphasis was just to put physical and mental pressure on the opposition. The boys did so in every game and didn't panic at any stage even when going behind in the final. The team dominated possession in the final which led to team captain Ollie Wilson scoring a hat-trick. The entire team deserve the trophy based on their hard work and commitment to each other. This is something that they will remember forever and will hopefully drive them on towards bigger and better things both on and off the pitch.” Jon Scourfield, U13 Coach, RGS High Wycombe
