What would you if you woke up one morning and had an urge - like you’ve never felt before - to go out and get a tattoo of Ed Miliband’s face? Well, you would go out and get one, of course. A big one. On your left thigh. Of course.

So, move over Abby Tomlinson because it looks like there’s now a new contender for the politician’s biggest fan on the block (there’s a sentence you probably didn’t think you’d read today) in the form of City University London student Hannah Stock.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen. The 18-year-old optometry undergraduate, originally from Bedfordshire, got that very urge one morning after revealing how she missed the former Labour leader’s direction from the party.

Speaking with BuzzFeed News, Stock - a Labour member for two years now - described how she thought the politician was “so great” and cited how “he’s such a hero and inspiration to me” as being the motive for the eye-opening image.

Reflecting on her mum’s reaction - which wasn’t too positive - Stock said they weren’t on speaking terms for “several hours,”adding: “She was pacing the house, crying, saying she didn’t know why I’d done this to myself and she didn’t know what she was going to do with me.”

On the whole, the student seemed to be confident the work of art would be a hit with potential dates and also said she hopes to see Mr Miliband reinstated as leader of the party once more so that she can add extra dates onto the tattoo.

Oh, and we hope Mum has recovered, and that her sister has picked her clothes up off the bedroom floor too.

The Independent understands Mr Miliband has yet to repond to several media requests for comment on the tattoo.
