Yougofurther - the UCAS student networking website - looking for its very own Gok Wan or Carrie Bradshaw. Do you fit the bill?

You've got 200 words to get your point across in Clothes Show Live's Young Blogger of the Year in association with

Yougofurther.co.uk
and The Independent.

Get on your soapbox to impress none other than

Louise Roe
, Vogue TV’s presenter and London’s ultimate trendsetter.

Louise started her career at Elle magazine before becoming one of the country’s hottest acts, prowling the red carpet at the Oscars and Cannes Film Festival to report the fashion news. She currently host’s E! Entertainment’s new show Perfect Catch alongside Carmen Electra.

Louise’s winner will get their blog published on The Independent, Clothes Show Live and yougo websites.

"I spend hours online finding out about the latest trends and designs and get so much inspiration from fashion blogs," said the newly-appointed style director for Littlewoods.com and Mens.Style.com' Woman in Fashion, 2009.

"This is a great opportunity for dedicated followers of fashion to not only showcase their writing skills but also share their thoughts on fashion today and lead the way with future fashion trends."

They’ll also get the chance to join the yougo team for the day and write more articles for the website. Now that really will look great on your CV.

So is this the age of 'mend and make do'? Is there an environmental price to pay for affordable fashion? Is celebrity culture having a bad effect on young people in Britain, or is it inspiring? Perhap's you just want to whinge about Cheryl's gear on last weekend's X Factor.

Whatever it is, make it relevant. Capture the imagination. Get it off your chest and get yourself heard. You've only got 200 words, so make them count. After all, you've got Louis Roe to impress.

The yougo team - with a little help from you, the yougo members - will help short-list five blogs from all the entries we get. Each short-listed entry will win a pair of tickets to this year's event at the Birmingham NEC , where they find out who Louise thinks should be crowned yougo Blogger of Year on Wedmesday 9 December.

Post your blog in this forum for the world to read

Closing date: Thursday 26 November, 2009. Short-listed entries announced Friday 27 November, 2009.
