WIGAN v FULHAM, Saturday 3pm
This match sees the meeting of two sides in desperate need of a win, they both have just one each. Fulham, aided by a woeful miss from Bobby Zamora somehow managed to lose their game against Everton last week when victory seemed certain and they will be desperate to put that behind them and record a much needed win here. Wigan are also in need of a win to dispel the growing sense that they will be one of the teams in serious trouble when relegation rears its head. While previous meeting of these sides have been a little short on goals, this match is all set up to be a fiercely fought contest.

Recent results: Wigan 1-1 Fulham (15/01/2011, PL), Fulham 2-0 WIgan (30/10/2010, PL)

One to watch: Bryan Ruiz opened his goal scoring account for Fulham last weekend with a fantastic chip against Everton which is surely a contender for goal of the month and his team will hope that goal will be the first of many as they look to record their second win of the season. If the Costa Rican striker can start to put in good performances for his team then he will add to what is on its day an already formidable attacking force at Fulham.

Did you know?: This fixture has only been won by the away side once in the last 25 league and cup meetings: a 1-0 Premier League victory for Wigan in October 2006

Fantasy pick: Ali Al-Habsi, 41 (Wigan), Danny Murphy, 42 (Fulham)*

Tweet of the week: 'After a very disappointing result, my wife and I have just sat down at Royal Albert hall to watch/listen to George Michael. Can't wait:)', @1MarkSchwarzer, Mark Schwarzer, Fulham.
