COMPETITION: WIN A CITY BREAK

WHERE IS this? Your task is simply to guess in which city the picture on the right was taken. The prize for the first correct answer out of the hat will be a three-night break for two in that very city.

To enter, send your answer, along with your name, address and telephone number, on a postcard to: City Break Competition, the Travel Desk, Independent on Sunday, 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5DL. Entries must arrive by first post on Thursday 30 September.

Last week's city break competition was set in Dublin. The winner is EM Aspinall of Bath, who will travel with a friend to Dublin courtesy of Crystal Cities. After flying with British Airways from Gatwick or with Aer Lingus from Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow, they will spend three nights at the three-star, centrally located Royal Dublin Hotel. Readers interested in visiting Dublin should call Crystal Cities (tel: 0181-241 5040). Two-night breaks at the Castle Hotel start from pounds 169. Three nights at the Royal Dublin cost pounds 269. Prices include scheduled return flights, accommodation and full Irish breakfast.

RULES: 1. The prize includes transport and three nights' accommodation for two people sharing a room. All other meals, drinks, travelling expenses and extras will be charged as taken. 2. The holiday is subject to availability and must be taken by 31 March 2000, excluding some peak periods. 3. The holiday is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. 4. Only one entry per person. The prize draw/competition is open to all residents of the UK aged 18 and over other than the employees (and their families) of Independent Newspapers or subsidiary companies. 5. The competition winner will be picked on Thursday 30 September and the winner will be notified in writing within seven days of the draw. 6. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility will be taken for entries lost or damaged in the post. 7. All entries are the sole property of the Independent on Sunday and the winner must be willing to have his or her name published. 8.
