Travel Challenge: A summer cruise in Scandinavia

Each week we invite three companies to offer their best deal for a specific holiday. Today: a June cruise in Scandinavia. Prices per person, based on two sharing, with all meals.

Hurtigruten

£2,574: "Classic Norwegian Discovery"

A 10-night cruise in an inside cabin stopping at a number of Norwegian ports en route to Kirkenes, and returning to Trondheim. Includes SAS flights from Heathrow to Bergen on 8 June, returning from Trondheim. "June is a fantastic month for exploring the Norwegian coast, under the beautiful midnight sun," says Kathryn Beadle of Hurtigruten (0844 448 7601; hurtigruten.co.uk).

Seabourn

£3,119: "Norwegian Fjords Sojourn"

A nine-night cruise in an ocean view cabin, with calls at Stavanger, Bergen, Alesund, Oslo, Gothenburg and Copenhagen. Includes BA flights from Heathrow to Hamburg on 5 June, returning from Copenhagen. "This is the ultimate way to visit the Norwegian fjords in five-star style. The boat carries just 450 guests and combines thrilling cities such as Oslo, with unusual ports such as Olden," says Lynn Narraway of Seabourn (0845 070 0500; seabourn.com).

Trailfinders

£1,499: "Arctic Circle Cruise"

Starting and ending in Amsterdam, a 12-night cruise in a balcony stateroom with calls in the Lofoten Islands, the Spitsbergen archipelago and Bergen. Includes return BA flights from Gatwick to Amsterdam on 13 June. "This is a fantastic cruise for June. As well as the amazing scenery, once you cross into the Arctic Circle it will be perpetual daylight," says Sean Atton of Trailfinders (020-7368 1300; trailfinders.com).
