The original property in the Copthorne Hotel chain is in the Sussex village of the same name, close to Gatwick airport. The Copthorne London Gatwick, as it is now known, has a package which is tempting for anyone needing long-term parking at the airport. For a flat rate of pounds 75, two people can stay overnight and park a car for up to 15 days, taking the courtesy bus to and from the airport itself. Call 0342 714971 for bookings.
