Hardcore Hello Kitty fans brace yourselves. A new Hello Kitty themed tea house has become Kyoto’s latest hotspot.

The Tea House Hello Kitty Saryo is a collaboration between Japanese Style Tea House and Hello Kitty, where fans of the iconic feline can now enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine Hello Kitty-style.

The tea house sells countless Kitty treats. From every day dim sum decorated with Hello Kitty stamps, to matcha green tea lattes with the famous face poking on the foam, everything served here comes complete with its very own nod to the 40-year-old character.

From as little as £2.45 per cake, guests can wile away the hours in Japan’s cultural capital Kyoto and enjoy a unique experience at this newly-opened cafe.

And as if having a Hello Kitty themed tea stop is not enough, super fans can continue the cuteness overdrive after sampling the cakes and delicacies.

A visit to the craft shop next to the cafe is a must where visitors can browse and buy a host of Hello Kitty memorabilia including teapots, tote bags, clothing and stationary.

So, if you’re ever in historical Kyoto, make sure you have a pit stop at the Tea House Hello Kitty Saryo as nothing says you’re in her homeland without visiting this place.
