This Cumbrian restaurant with rooms reopened a year ago after a renovation. A good post-hike hideaway, its rooms are comfortable, its food local and seasonal (co-owner Liam used to work at the Savoy) and the views are spectacular, with a wide panorama that takes in Skiddaw.
