Air Berlin voted best seats among European budget carriers

The seats of Air Berlin were voted the most comfortable among budget airlines which offer a route in France, according to a survey released by AirValid on October 15.

UK-based AirValid garnered their ratings on the feeling of seat comfort from 1,577 passenger reviews covering 37 low cost airlines which have departed from France.

The reviews were collected from September 1, 2008, until September 1, 2009 and only airlines which received more than 100 reviews were included in the ranking, to exclude little-used charter services.

"Alongside with the fact that meals and in-flight entertainment can be either charged for or free, comfortable seating is a major criterion in the choice of the passenger according to our survey," stated AirValid.
