Two planes carrying a total of 287 passengers collided today on the ground at Manchester airport. The aircraft touched wings as they were taxiing to the first runway.
The planes were a Futura flight to Tenerife and a Lufthansa flight bound for Frankfurt, Germany.
An airport spokesman said there were no injuries. The Airport Fire Service was assessing both aircraft before they returned to Terminal One.
No other flights were delayed by the incident.
