British Airways flyers to get more screen time

British Airways has won approval from the Civil Aviation Authority to run its inflight entertainment from start to finish – including taxiing, ascent and descent.

Airlines typically screen entertainment from 10 minutes after take-off until 20 minutes before landing. But from Saturday, says BA, passengers will be able to tune in "from the second they reach their seat to the moment they arrive at their destination".
