Condé Nast taps top cruise, car rental and airline companies: Sea Cloud, Hertz and Singapore Airlines lead the pack

In the 22nd Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Survey, released October 16, top honors in the tourist transport world were awarded to Sea Cloud Cruises, Hertz Rent-A-Car and Singapore Airlines.

The opinions of over 25,000 survey respondents on a five-point scale -- ranging from excellent to poor -- determined each company's final score.

Cruise lines were judged in seven categories: activities/facilities, cabins, crew/service, design/layout, food/dining, itineraries/schedule and shore excursions
