Five Best: Clubbing Destinations
Sunday 31 July 2005
B-018, Lot 317 La Quarantaine, is frequently name-checked as the best club in the world. Resembling an old bomb shelter, it has a retractable roof so you can dance under the stars. Bar Louie, Rue Goraud, is a vast lounge-restaurant-club complex. Dine from 10pm and by 1am you will be dancing on the tables.
WMF 007 Summer Edition, Rolandufer 13 (www.wmfclub.de), opens Thursday to Saturday. Expect top DJs at Berlin's best club night. SO36, Oranienstrasse 190, spans techno to house at weekends.
DC10, C.tra Salinas KM 1, open on Mondays from 8am, is the island's best club. Strut your stuff inside or on the terrace with planes dropping overhead on to the runway next door. Arrive at 5pm straight from the beach and dance to the coolest DJs until the joint closes at midnight.
La Terrazza, Poble Español, Avda Marques de Comillas, is summer's premier outdoor dance space. Sunrise is sensational. Souvenir, Noi del Sucre 71, Viladecans industrial estate, has top clubbing.
Cabaret, 2 place du Palais-Royale, is top-end chic. Rub shoulders with A-list in a plush milieu. Le Red Light, 34 rue du Depart, has top DJs and capacity crowds.
