Active Andalucia

Explore has availability on its eight-day "Family Active Andalucia" adventure (which also visits Portugal). It costs £814 per adult and £771 per child on 3 August; or £739 per adult and £696 per child on 10 August. Both departures include Iberia flights from Heathrow to Seville via Madrid, B&B hotels, transport, a tour leader and excursions such as mountain biking in Aracena National Park, kayaking along the Guadiana River and relaxing on the beaches of Tavira Island (explore.co.uk).

Northern Corse

Corsican Places has added the new Apartment Maccioni to its collection. The modern two-bed is located in the seaside commune of Algajola near Calvi, with a balcony and sea views. On 14 and 21 July, a seven-night stay is £499pp, based on four sharing, with Titan Airways flights from Stansted to Calvi and transfers (corsica.co.uk/maccioni).

Loire a vÉlo

Utracks has a new self-guided cycling holiday through the Loire Valley. Based at the smart Chateau du Breuil in Cheverny, it includes four nights' half board, bike hire, maps and route notes, so you can discover the region's forests, vineyards and medieval towns at your own pace. Magical Mallorca

Soak up the delights of the Mallorcan capital on a short break with Seasoned Travel. Departing on 1 July, it includes five nights' room-only at the four-star Tryp Bellver Hotel, which faces out towards Palma's harbour, with Monarch flights from Gatwick and transfers for £465pp, based on two sharing (seasonedtravel.co.uk).
