DOUBLE UP

Trailfinders has an affordable and exotic beach break on two Indonesian islands for £1,099pp. Based on departures in May, the price includes a week at the Meliá Villas & Spa Resort in the Nusa Dua region of Bali, followed by five nights at the Sheraton hotel on Sengiggi Beach in Lombok. Singapore Airlines flights from Heathrow and internal Garuda airfares included (trailfinders.com).

BLOOMIN' MARVELLOUS

Keukenhof - the world's largest flower garden - opened for the season this week in Lisse, Holland. To celebrate, Railbookers has devised a trip that includes train travel from London St Pancras or Ebbsfleet to Leiden, with two nights at the Tulip Inn and entrance to the gardens between now and 18 May for £209pp. Opt to stay in Amsterdam instead and the cost is £329pp (railbookers.com).

CLUB CLASS

ITC Luxury Travel has a five-star escape to Barbados for £1,235pp. Based at the Colony Club, on the island's west coast, the holiday includes seven nights' B&B, private transfers and Virgin flights from Gatwick, for travel between now and 18 December - with no exclusion dates. Book by 30 April (itcluxurytravel.co.uk).

EN CORSE

If you're looking for a good-value Mediterranean break, consider Corsican Places - which currently has a range of self-catering weeks on the island for less than £500. For example, there's seven nights at the Le Home apartments in Calvi Town for £399pp, for a departure on 4 or 11 May. The price includes a studio apartment with access to a shared pool and easyJet flights from Gatwick to Bastia (corsica.co.uk/le-home).
