Mondays at L'Manoir
On 23 and 30 September, Raymond Blanc's celebrated Oxfordshire hotel, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, is offering a special package. It includes accommodation, a half bottle of champagne, breakfast, and a six-course dinner at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant for £350pp, based on two sharing (manoir.com).
Hit the highway
Trailfinders currently has a range of deals on US fly-drive holidays between 6-31 January. Highlights include an 11-night "Classic California" road trip along Highway 1, with three-star hotels, BA flights from Heathrow to San Francisco, returning from San Diego, and 10 days' car hire for £1,199pp. Stops include Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Santa Monica (trailfinders.com).
November might not be the ideal time to take in Istanbul, but BA has a good deal which grants you three nights in the city for £157pp. It includes B&B at the Armagrandi Spina Hotel, a 19th-century townhouse in Sultanahmet, a few steps from the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia – all of which will be as enchanting as ever in winter. Flights are included from Heathrow between 16-25 November, when booked by 24 September (ba.com/sale).
Indian Ocean escape
A week on the idyllic Indian Ocean isle of Mauritius is being offered for £1,099pp in the Flights Centre sale, when booked by 30 September for travel between 7-21 January. The deal includes half-board accommodation at the Coin de Mire Hotel with Emirates flights from Heathrow via Dubai – perfect for a dose of winter sun (flightcentre.co.uk).
