Each week, we target three companies to ask for their best offer on a specific break. Today, a week-long trip to Tuscany in September: one wine tour, one active break, and one villa holiday. All prices are per person, based on two people sharing, apart from the villa, which is per person but based on a group of six.

Wine Tour - £985

Includes Vueling flights from Gatwick to Florence on 1 September, three nights’ B&B at Hotel Monna Lisa in Florence and four nights’ B&B at Hotel Athena, Siena. Plus three guided wine tours of Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and San Gimignano (01920 46 86 66; grapeescapes.net).

Active - £1,029

A lodge-style farmhouse in the mountainous Garfagnana region of Tuscany (Arthur Duncan Arthur)

This group trip includes British Airways flights from Gatwick to Pisa on 12 September, plus seven nights’ B&B at Braccicorti, a lodge-style farmhouse in the mountainous Garfagnana area. The price also includes guided hikes and some meals (0845 863 9601; exodus.co.uk).

Villa - £176

The price is per person for seven nights’ self-catering at Sanpolino in Rosso, near Siena, from 12 September. The three-bedroom villa is in the heart of Chianti and has a shared swimming pool. Flights are not included (0121 286 7782; to-tuscany.com).
