3 France: Head to the Restanques du Golfe Resort de Saint Tropez with Pierre & Vacances (pv-holidays .com). A two-bed apartment, sleeping six, costs £520 in total.

4 Italy: Keycamp (keycamp.co.uk) has seven nights for two adults and up to four children at the Norcenni Girasole Club, 20 miles from Florence, for £175 in total, accommodation only.

5 Belgium: The Hotel Amigo (roccofortecollection.com /packages) in Brussels has a two-night "Eggstrordinary Easter Package" featuring chocolate-themed family fun. Book a classic room to get 50 per cent off a second adjacent room. From £385.

6 Austria: Go skiing with Zenith Holidays (zenithholidays.co.uk). Four nights at the Hotel Bergjuwel costs £530 per person, when two adults and two under-11s share, with flights and half-board.

7 Croatia: The Dubrovnik Sun Gardens (dubrovniksungardens .com), near the city, is offering a double room with sea view, Easter dinner and kids club, from €255 (£225) per person for three nights.

8 Rhodes: Witness a Greek Easter on Rhodes. Expedia (expedia.co.uk) has six nights from £508 per person, for two adults and two children sharing, with flights and room-only at the Ixian Grand.

9 Northern Cyprus: Try a new eight-day family holiday to the island with the Adventure Company (adventurecompany.co.uk), from £789 per adult and £729 per child, with flights and B&B.

10 Turkey: Exclusive Escapes (exclusiveescapes.co.uk) is offering seven nights B&B at the Kalkan Regency from £540 per person sharing, including flights.
