British Airways has become the first European airline to allow its passengers to use electronic devices in "flight safe" mode at almost all stages of a trip, following a CAA ruling (bit.ly/Inflight).
The White Circle has launched RIB rides into the Arctic fjords of Norway in search of the Aurora Borealis. The "Harstad – Kisses with Wolves" trip also involves an encounter with wolves (thewhitecircle.com).
Compareandfly.com is a new price- comparison site that lets you make immediate bookings with real-time prices of flights, accommodation and car hire. A smartphone app is being launched in January.
