The Calatrava Boutique Hotel opens tomorrow in Palma de Mallorca. There are 16 rooms, most of which have sea views; plus a bistro, spa, and outdoor terrace (boutiquehotelcalatrava.com).
The Kennedy Space Center in Orlando has unveiled the Angry Birds Space Encounter. The interactive experiences include the opportunity to create your own Angry Bird (kennedyspacecenter.com).
Virgin Atlantic launches its new domestic airline, Little Red, today, flying between Heathrow and Manchester. Edinburgh follows on 6 April; Aberdeen on 9 April (virgin-atlantic.com).
