The Francis is the latest hotel to open in Bath. Set in a string of townhouses, it sports Regency-inspired design with modern flourishes (mgallery.com).

Sunsail has launched yacht charters in British Columbia. Based on Vancouver Island, boats can venture out to explore the Pacific Northwest, either with a skipper or bareboat (sunsail.co.uk).
