This week saw the opening of the luxury Raffles Praslin in the Seychelles, as well as the debut of the Pullman Bali resort.

This five-star property opened the first of its 353 rooms this week, promising to bring stylish luxury to the island. The hotel boasts a spa offering services such as Balinese massage, Tjakra art movement and warm stone massage, along with a rooftop infinity pool, rooftop bar, lobby lounge and a 'Deli @ Pullman' restaurant.

Glasgow, Scotland

The Central Hotel has been part of Glasgow station for over a century and has just reopened following a £20m (€23.4m) refurbishment to bring it up to date. The property features 186 rooms themed around the railway, and the hotel also offers the "Champagne Central" bar, an informal deli and the "Tempus" Bar and Restaurant.
