This week saw the opening of an urban retreat in the busy streets of Berlin, a new boutique brand from Marriott and the first internationally branded hotel in Brunei.
Offering a Scandinavian-themed retreat from the busy streets, Scandic's new 563-room Potsdamer Platz property is the latest addition to Berlin's booming hotel scene. The hotel features rooms themed around the seasons, a terrace and restaurant, free wifi and access to a gym and spa.
The long-awaited boutique property by Marriott and Ian Schrager finally soft-opened its doors to the first customers this week. The property features a private beach, a nightclub and full service spa, along with a restaurant by famed US chef Masaharu Morimoto - the Morimoto Waikiki at EDITION.
The only internationally branded hotel in Brunei Darussalam, the new Radisson is close to local tourist sites such as Kampong Ayer Water Village, the Royal Regalia museum and the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. It offers 142 rooms, a fitness center, outdoor pool and spa and three restaurant/bar options.
