The Global Spa Summit begins in Istanbul May 16, bringing together leaders from the global industry to discuss what's new on the spa scene. On May 20, the first part of the Costa Navarino complex opens in Greece.
Global Spa Summit
The 4th annual Global Spa Summit brings together the big players of the world's spa industry to discuss innovations and opportunities for the future of the industry. Keynote speakers include medical professionals, spa and hotel owners.
Costa Navarino Opens
Boasting Greece's first signature golf course, the Costa Navarino resort is set to be one of the most exclusive destinations on mainland Greece. The Romanos and Westin luxury hotels sit alongside the Troon golf course and 4,000 square meter Anazoe Spa. The Romanos is the first property onsite to open on May 20 while the Westin opens June 4.
Global Travel and Tourism Summit, Beijing
The annual gathering of the world's tourism leaders is a landmark in the industry calendar and plays host to some of the most important announcements of the year. Amongst them, the 2010 Tourism for Tomorrow Award will recognize the world's leading examples of tourism best practice from 160 entrants around the globe.
Luna Park Coney Island Opens

The new Luna Park digs deep into the area's history, with some of the rides based on the concepts used at the original amusement park on Coney Island, which opened in 1903 and closed in 1944. Seabourn Sojourn Maiden Voyage

Sojourn's season begins in Northern Europe, cruising the Norwegian Fjords and up to Iceland. She features a "spa villa," four restaurants, six bars and suites that include a private solarium and forward-facing veranda.
ILA Berlin Air Show
This year sees centenary celebrations of the Berlin Air Show, the world's oldest such exhibition. Approximately 1,100 exhibitors are expected to show their products to a quarter of a million visitors, with new aircraft debuts and spectacular airshows on the agenda.

Marina Bay Sands Official Opening
Although partially open already, the rest of the enormous Marina Bay Sands will complete Singapore's second "integrated resort." An additional 2,560 guest rooms, more shops, restaurants and nightlife options and the Sands SkyPark will open.
