3. The role of black men and women from the Caribbean and Britain in the two world wars is examined in From War to Windrush at the Imperial War Museum, London. The exhibition marks the 60th anniversary of the MV 'Empire Windrush' arriving in Britain (iwm.org.uk).

4. This summer Mars will be at its closest to Earth for 6,000 years and Techniquest in Cardiff is inviting families on a voyage to explore our neighbouring planet. The new exhibition, Mars, runs during weekends and holidays until 31 August (techniquest.org.uk).
