The Independent and East of England Tourism are offering you the chance to experience the region for yourself.

Enter our photography competition and you could win a luxury weekend break for two, a Kodak digital camera and a printed canvas of your photograph to keep. Plus two runners up will receive a Kodak digital camera and all six finalists' photographs will be reproduced on canvas which will be displayed at the Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel and the Enjoy England Regional Awards for Excellence.

The Independent and East of England Tourism have teamed up to offer you a chance to experience the region which includes Bedfordshire, Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire - by sending us your photographs of the East of England.

Email a maximum of three pictures you’ve been inspired to take of these fantastic regions to photography@independent.co.uk stating your name, address, daytime phone number and whether you are happy for us to pass your details on to third parties. Please write, in no more than 20 words, a brief description of your photographs and where in East of England they were taken. The competition ends midnight 25 April 2008.

The winner will receive:

1. A two-night weekend break for two (based on two people sharing a room) at the Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Bordering the ancient woodlands of Epping Forest, the hotel comprises stylish guest rooms that blend classic comfort with modern flair. Recreation is only as far as the leisure club, with a large indoor pool, fitness centre and sauna.

2. Crazy Canvas will turn the prize winners photograph into a real artwork to keep.

3. The new Kodak EasyShare Z1285 Zoom digital camera. A high performance, 12-megapixel camera with 5X optical zoom and image stabilization. Two runners-up will each receive:

Six finalists will receive:

The six finalists' photographs will be reproduced on canvas which will be displayed at the Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel and later at the Enjoy England Regional Awards for Excellence.
