Forest of Bowland, Lancashire
'The Forest of Bowland encompasses a variety of landscapes from rolling agricultural land to wild moorland. In addition, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has a number of picturesque villages including Chipping from where this walk starts,' says Lou. 'The route crosses fields to climb onto the open fells eventually reaching one of the greatest viewpoints in England with Blackpool Tower visible in the distance.'
