Aberlour to Knockando, Speyside
The Speyside Way is one of Scotland's long-distance hiking trails, snaking through the heart of malt whisky country. One of the most popular legs of the route is the six-mile ramble along the River Spey from the pretty village of Aberlour to the Knockando Distillery. Aberlour's old railway station has been converted into the Speyside Way Visitor Centre: its other claim to fame is that it's the home of Walkers Shortbread.
