'Two years ago, I walked from Lynton to Croyde over three days, crashing out at cliff-top campsites and scoffing fish and chips along the way,' reminisces Jo. 'I loved the way the coast path dipped into bustling, kiss-me-quick seaside towns then scrambled out onto the wild Exmoor Coast. For a day walk, head to the Heddon Valley. Fuel up with an epic ploughman's lunch at the Hunter's Inn and power on up to heather-covered Holdstone Hill, before picking up the South West Coast Path and marvelling at the way the Hangman Hills tumble into the sea.'
