Robbers Table, Co Tyrone
This is an exhilarating winter's walk across rolling hills and frost-encrusted moorland. At the highest point there are superb views of the Bluestack and Derryveagh Mountains of Donegal to the west and the High Sperrins to the north-east. As you climb south over Ballynatubbrit Mountain you pass Robbers Table, where 17th-century Highwaymen met up to divide their spoils after holding up carriages that crossed this upland landscape.
