Get behind the scenes at Heathrow? Watch BBC1 at 8.30pm tomorrow, when the six-part series Airport begins. The programme charts a day in the life of Europe's busiest airport, from check-in to touchdown. A film crew spent 18 months behind the scenes at Heathrow to get the story.
Enjoy "the world's first indoor hot-air balloon experience"? Ask a German to shut up, politely? Say "Fassen Sie sich bitte kurz", which the new German Business Phrase Book from Berlitz (pounds 4.95) says means "please be brief". The other languages in the series are French, Italian and Spanish.
