Curioser and curioser

In last week's report "French Aids blood scandal trial falls apart in absurdity", John Lichfield mentioned the trial of Alice "at the end of Alice Through the Looking-Glass". Alice's trial in fact takes place in the first book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and the sequel is entitled Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There.

A bridge too far

Two weeks ago in the Travel section, it was stated that the Clifton suspension bridge spanned the River Severn. In fact, it spans the River Avon.
