According to the Millau's designer, our very own Lord Foster: "Crossing a bridge gives you a sense of spiritual elevation. Looking at a bridge should be a moving experience." Sounds just the ticket. Just one thing though; the "moving experience" doesn't mean a "wobble" does it?
