Tea-time
Are there no limits to the power of the cuppa? It's been mooted before that tea can help to protect us from the ravages of heart disease and cancers. Now we learn that tea can also help stave off Alzheimer's disease. We'll drink to that. But tea has always been more than just a healthy drink. It's a civilising beverage. Think tea-time at Lord's. Think afternoon tea. We should be proud of our "pansy-ass, tea-sipping opinions", as they were recently characterised by some belligerent Americans. Consider how differently things would have been if Arsene Wenger had sat down with Alex Ferguson to enjoy a nice cup of tea at the end of Sunday's match.
