You can take issue with the name, Brulee, on grounds of suitability and sex, but Bernie Ecclestone was right to defend his splendid chow after it was banned from Chelsea Square for a bit of aggro. From the way Mr Ecclestone's neighbours have been carrying on, you would have thought a chow was an upmarket pit bull - a brute kept on short rations and periodically unleashed. Not so. A chow is a distinctive and solitary character - much like his master in this case - who dislikes a crowd. Brulee doesn't deserve expulsion; he is a handsome loner who should have the garden to himself.
